3.1 We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect from when they are posted on the website and it is your responsibility to read the Terms and Conditions on each occasion that you use this website. Your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest Terms and Conditions.
3.2 The contract between us shall be governed by the Laws of the United Kingdom and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of the United Kingdom. English is the only language offered for the conclusion of the contract.
4.1 All orders that are placed on this website are subject to these terms and conditions.
4.2 Acceptance of order and completion of contract are made once the order is confirmed by us and payment is being processed. English is the only language offered for the conclusion of the contract.
4.3 We reserve the right not to accept any order due to one or more of the following:
4.3.1 The product is out of stock
4.3.2 Payment has not been authorised
4.3.3 Error in pricing or product description
4.3.4 The criteria in clause 3.2 in these Terms and Conditions are not being met.
4.3.5 Technical failure of the website
4.4 All products are subject to availability. In the unlikely event that we are unable to supply you with your request, we will notify you as soon as possible.
4.5 Once the order has been dispatched, we will send you a confirmation via email.
4.6 Please make sure to read the labels on the packaging for any allergy inquiries. Do not solely rely on the information given on the website as mistakes can occur.
4.7 All images of products in terms of colour etc. may vary from the computer screen view. We cannot guarantee that the image is an identical representation of the product.
5.1 All our products are being produced and stored in an environment where nuts are being used. Product may therefore contain traces of nuts.
6.1 Risk of damage or loss to the goods supplied passes to you when delivery is attempted, whether successful or not. We cannot accept any claim for damage or deterioration after the delivery has been made. This does not affect your statutory rights.
7.1 Because we bake our cereal to order to ensure maximum freshness, please allow up to 5 working days for delivery. We will notify you by email when your order has been dispatched.

If you have any special delivery requirements or your order is urgent and you require a next day delivery, we will do our best to accommodate you. Please contact us to arrange this.
Please note that we have no control over the conditions in which our products are stored once they have left our premises.
7.2 No orders will be dispatched on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays. Delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen circumstances and we cannot be held responsible for delays outside our control.
7.3 Delivery charges are specified once you have placed your order and entered the delivery details. The shopping Cart automatically calculates the Shipping Charges for all locations. UK mainland only delivery charge (Excl Highlands & Islands) is £3.50-£6 depending on the size of the order.
Orders over £50 are FREE.
At this moment in time we regret that we are not able to deliver to BFPO or PO addresses or outside the UK.
7.4 When placing your order, please make sure the delivery address and postcode are correct as we take no liability for goods being undelivered due to incorrect/inaccurate address details.
A contact phone number will be required in addition to the delivery address and if not provided may result in delays in the event of an attempted delivery. We would like to make it clear that any phone numbers given to us will only be used if necessary in relation to a specific order or delivery and no other purpose.
7.5 If goods have not been received within two days of the anticipated delivery date, please notify us in writing. Any delay in dispatch and/or delivery, for whatever reason shall not be ground for a claim for consequential loss.
8.1 All prices are quoted in GBP are by weight or by unit as appropriate and include all taxes applicable to sales in the United Kingdom.
8.2 Payment must be received by us before we process your order.
8.3 Payment can be made either by Credit/Debit Card or Paypal.
We use Opayo’s online payment system that handles all major credit and debit card transactions.
Opayo has the highest level of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).
PCI DSS are a set of standards to help protect businesses and shoppers from data theft and fraud.
Once your payment is complete, you will be emailed with a receipt for this transaction.
We use Paypal shopping cart facility that handles all major credit and debit card transactions as well as Paypal member payments.
Paypal protects your financial information with industry leading security and fraud prevention systems.
When you use Paypal, your financial information is not shared with the merchant. Once your payment is complete, you will be emailed with a receipt for this transaction.
8.4 We also accept cheques drawn in sterling on a UK bank. Cheques payable to Yockenthwaite Farm and sent to us c/o Yockenthwaite Farm, Unit 2, The Sidings Business Park, Engine Shed Lane, Skipton, BD23 1TB. If you are sending us a cheque, please allow at least 14 days for payment to reach us as we cannot despatch orders until cheques are cleared.
8.5 The price that you will be charged is the price stated on the website at the time we receive your order. In the unlikely event that an incorrect price has been given, we will contact you as soon as possible to see if you would like to go ahead with your order at the correct price or cancel your order. If we can’t get in touch with you we will cancel the order in respect of the incorrect priced product.
8.6 Please make sure that you receive a receipt of payment via email as well as a confirmation of your order. Failure of either to arrive may indicate that your order has not gone through successfully.
8.7 We reserve the right to change prices at any time at our discretion before, but not after, we accept orders.
9.1 You have the right to cancel your order from when the order is placed up to 7 days from the day you receive your delivery. Your notice of cancellation must be made to us in writing (email or post) Please see our contact details in paragraph 2.
9.2 Should you wish to cancel your order when it has already been dispatched, or if you change your mind, we will refund the original purchase price, providing you have notified us in writing no longer than 7 working days after the day on which you received the goods, and that the goods are returned to us unopened in a re-saleable condition with all the original packaging, tags and labels at your expense.
10.1 If your goods do not reach you in perfect condition or for any reason our products fall below the high standards you expect, please contact us as soon as possible, but within 3 working days of delivery and if appropriate, we will arrange an exchange or refund. Any damaged goods must be retained as it may be necessary to return them to us.
Yockenthwaite Farm is compliant with the Data Protection Act. When you order, we receive personal or company details which enable us to process your order. We will treat this information with complete confidentiality and will not disclose your details to any third party. We may occasionally send you promotional material relating to Yockenthwaite Farm.
